Chapter meetings are held the first Friday of the month, except for January and July.

Meetings include:  devotions, patriotic recitations, the President General’s Message and a report from the National Defense Committee report.  Reports are presented by the chapter chairmen of the committees.  Guest speakers, as well as members, provide interesting programs relating to a wide variety of subjects.

The Waubonsie Chapter NSDAR is an active chapter, and in February, the DAR Good Citizen and essay awards are presented at an Awards Luncheon/Tea.  The chapter also supports historic preservation, promotes education, and fosters patriotism.
