Chapter meetings are held the first Friday of
the month except for January and July.
Meetings include: the
ritualistic openings, devotions, patriotic recitations, as well as
the reading of the President General’s Message and the National
Defense Report. Reports are presented by the chapter chairmen of
the committees. Guest speakers as well as members provide
interesting programs relating to a wide variety of subjects.
The Waubonsie Chapter is an active chapter, and in February, the Good
Citizen and essay awards are presented at an Awards Luncheon/Tea. The
chapter also supports historic preservation, promotes education, and
fosters patriotism.
