Chapter Meetings

Meetings are generally held August through June, in the homes of members or at local sites of interest.

Vietnam veterans were honored by the chapter in conjunction with the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War. 		library
In honor of a member, the chapter presented the three-volume series,  Women in the American Revolution.

Stars and Stripes Chapter, NSDAR, hosted the state regent, at a meeting at the Des Moines County Historical Society Building.  The chapter regent presented her with prints of Snake Alley.
 DAR Good Citizens award
The DAR Good Citizens contest winner was honored at a special luncheon.
Stars and Stripes Chapter, NSDAR, members attended meetings of the Iowa Society DAR and the National Society DAR.
