Welcome to Hannah Lee Chapter NSDAR

Welcome to beautiful Northeast Iowa.

We are located in West Union, but represent six counties of the northeast corner of Iowa. Our area includes the beautiful Driftless Area which is bounded on the east by the Mississippi River and transitions into the flat plains for which Iowa is known. The pioneer spirit of our ancestors is present in our love of the land, patriotism, dedication to our schools and communities, and our desire to keep what is best from the past and the present for the future.

What is DAR...?

The National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR) is a non-profit, non-political volunteer women's service organization dedicated to promoting patriotism, furthering education, and preserving the historic heritage of our country and communities. DAR was founded in 1890 as a National Society and has provided leadership in the fields of conservation, citizenship, genealogy, and family history; education and educational scholarships; historical American studies; and service to veterans.
