Van Hook was buried in the Andrew Cemetery,
Perry Township, Jackson County, Iowa. The
Addie Merrill Lee chapter DAR of DeWitt placed a
memorial marker on the grave October 19, 1960.
Lawrence Van Hook served in the Cumberland
County, NJ militia as an officer.
