   Note: She was born 6 Oct 1823 and died 8 Sep 1915. 
     
Jane Bevier Lamb David Bevier - NY Clinton
   Note: She was born 10 Mar 1820 Bradford, NY and died 5 Mar 1897 in Clinton, IA. 
     
Emily Chittenden Carter Jared Chittenden - CT Wenonah Chapter, MN
 Mrs. Emily Chittenden Carter possessed the true pioneer spirit.  She was the last of nineteen children and a very industrious person.  When her sons came West each had 24 pairs of wool socks, knitted by his mother, to bring with him.  During her last eight years she pieced over 100 quilts. 
     
Sophia M. Dolson Andrews John Dolson - PA Abigail Adams
She was born 27 Apr 1829 and died 4 Dec 1924. 
     
Mary Elliot Fahey Robert Elliot - PA Jean Espy
Mrs. Fahey was born in York County, Penn. July 10, 1818.
     
Jane Englis Smith Andrew Englis - MA Stars and Stripes
Jane was born 23 Dec 1815 and died 27 June 1908 Tecumseh, Johnson County, NE.  She is buried in Tecumseh, NE.  Her grave was marked by her chapter in 1926. 
     
Lucy Fellows Sibley Abiel Fellows - CT Abigail Adams
Lucy is buried in Hillside Cemetery in State Center, IA.  Her grave was marked by her chapter on Nov. 13, 1914. 
     
Sarah Elias Whitcomb Isaac Fletcher - MA Deborah Avery - NE

Sarah Whitcomb is buried in Evergreen Cemetery at Red Oak, Iowa.  Her chapter marked her grave on Oct. 19, 1926. 

     
Mary Ann Burr Theophlus Luther - RI Cedar Falls
Mary Ann Burr is buried in Independence, IA and her grave was marked by her chapter on June 2, 1917. 
     
Electa A.  Van Vleck Joseph Manchester - RI Hannah Caldwell
Electa was born 28 Aug 1809.  Her first husband was Leander Simmons and her second husband was Dr. V.H. Van Vleck.  She lived with her daughter, Mrs. Charles S. Durfee, in Davenport after his death and died 25 Mar 1899.
     
Eliza A. M. Shrader Isaac Melvin - MA Pilgrim
Eliza Melvin Shrader was born 7 Jan 1808 Plymouth, NH and died 1 Mar 1905 in Iowa City, Iowa.  She was buried in Oakland Cemetery in Iowa City, Iowa.  Her grave was marked by her chapter on 16 Sept 1916. 
     
Catherine M. Mower Roadman Peter Mower - NY Cedar Falls
Catherine is buried in the Fairview Cemetery in Cedar Falls, Black Hawk County, IA. Her grave was marked by her chapter on June 16, 1916. 
     
Emily Smith Nettleton Justus Reed - CT Martha Washington

Emily died 14 May 1909.  Emily married Chandler Judd Nettleton  22 Mar 1840.  Soon after their marriage, she came down with small pox and her hard life began.  She had two children.  When the baby was less than a year old, her husband took her back to her father’s home and she never saw her husband again.  Her father died very shortly afterwards.  She supported her mother and children by working in a factory.  She came to Sioux City, Iowa to be near her son who had migrated west.  Emily Nettleton is buried in the Logan Park Cemetery, Sioux City, Iowa.  Her grave was marked by her chapter in 1912. 

 
Pamela Worsley Increase Sikes - MA Member-At-Large
Pamela Sikes Worsley is buried in Red Oak Cemetery in Red Oak Township, Montgomery Co., IA.  Her grave was marked by Iowa State Society, NSDAR, on July 4, 1926. 
 
Rebecca Smith Tylee Nathaniel Austin Smith - PA Elizabeth Ross
Rebecca Smith Tylee died 22 Mar 1905 in Douglas County, WI.   Rebecca taught Sunday Schools for many years.  She died at the home of her daughter in Wisconsin at the age of 95 and is buried at the Purdom Cemetery in Keosauqua, Van Buren Co, Iowa. 
     
Martha Ellen Wall Moon Hartford William Wall, VA Council Bluffs
Martha Wall was born 30 Jun 1821 in Logan County, VA.  She married Zimri Moon who died in the 1890’s in Buchanan, Michigan.  He was carrying in a load of wood, tripped and broke his neck.  Their children were Zenas E. Moon, born in 1849, Frances Ellen Moon born in 1851, Zara E. Moon born in 1852, and Frank White Moon born in 1855.  She later married Samuel Hartford, a Civil War Soldier who served as a private in Captain Mattison’s New York Militia. Martha died 9 Jan 1910 and is buried in the New Lebanon Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Cooper County, Missouri. 
 
Julia Ann Weaver William Warrington - VA Hannah Caldwell
Julia Warrington Weaver was born 6 Aug 1806 and died 1 Mar 1899.  She was married to David Fuller in 1828.  He died in 1832.  She then married John Weaver in 1837 and had been married for 62 years at the time of her death.  She is buried in Oakdale Memorial Gardens, Section 18, Lot 4, in Davenport, Iowa. 
     
Susan Antoinette Ostrander David Wood - CT Council Bluffs
Susan Wood Ostrander was born 24 June 1817 in Kingsville, Ohio, and died 23 May 1914.  Her early life was spent on a farm where she learned to spin, knit, and weave.  She took her first spinning lesson on her 5th birthday and soon helped to knit socks and mittens.  She wove homespun linen or wool clothing until her marriage.  She was married to James H. Ostrander in 1834 near Kingsville  Ohio.  After a few years of married life, they moved to northern Indiana and then to Illinois.  In 1853, they moved to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, moving in 1855 to Audubon County, Iowa where Mr. Ostrander died in 1881.  She is buried in the West Liberty Cemetery north of Glenwood, Iowa.
