State Registrar

Contact Information
Each chapter is responsible for reporting
their members’ change of contact and personal
information. Your chapter’s Registrar is
responsible for making changes in
e-Membership, so please inform her of any
changes so you stay connected. Reporting the
death of a member in a timely manner is much
appreciated.
Genealogy Guidelines
Under the Genealogy tab in the Members
section of the National Website, a number of
links can be found to help registrars research
and fill out applications. Make use of the
links to build your skills in working on
applications.
Most all questions asked by Registrars in the
application process can be found in the
Guidelines, which are the first three links
under the Genealogy tab as well as on the
Registrar General’s page under Resources and
Tools.

National Lineage Research Committee
The Wright Administration has restructured
this committee to be more team oriented and
deliberate in tracking Registrars’ requests
for help with applications and research. All
requests for help should begin at the state,
through the State Registrar or Lineage
Research Committee. If additional help is
required, a request by a designated person,
will be initiated through the Prospective
Member Database on e-Membership to the
National LRC. This is a NEW process. Requests
will be categorized and routed to an
appropriate subcommittee.
Another change is refocusing and changing the
America 250! Membership Task Force (very often
confused with the America 250! Committee) to
the Application Task Force. This committee
will be assigned the most difficult AIR issues
by the National LRC through the new tracking
system in e-Membership.
More information on changes in procedures and
processes can be found on the Lineage Research
Committee pages on the National website.
Please contact me by phone or email with any
questions.
