Workshops from the Action 5
Our Action 5 Team is pleased to tailor their
presentations/workshops to your needs. Below is a sample of
the types of workshops Action 5+ Team members can do for your
chapter:
Chapter Program An
overview of chapter membership helps -- suggesting strategies for
incorporating new members in your chapters, explaining records,
sources, genealogy hints, etc.
Genealogy Workshop An all
day workshop, emphasizing basic genealogy, techniques of research,
in the morning and then one-on-one assistance in the afternoon.
Short Genealogy Workshop
-- A brief introduction to research followed by one-on-one
assistance with work in process.
Training Session
Intended for chapter registrars, lineage researchers (and anyone
else interested), this workshop will review DAR requirements, the
application process, and what is needed to successfully navigate
the Genealogy Department at DAR Headquarters.
