http://www.dar.org/members/committees/national-committees/american-heritage/committee-overview.
Email your entries to the National Vice Chair
between January 2, 2023 and February 15,
2023)! Remember, that the Fiber Arts
entry is different & must be emailed to
the State Chairman by JANUARY 1, 2023). Then
the state chair will have the entries judged
and sends them to National by Feb 15, 2023.
The contest entry forms are available online http://www.dar.org/sites/default/files/members/darnet/forms/AHE-1004.pdf.
A contest entry form must be completed with
each entry according to the category's
instructions. Please remember to email a
copy of your entry form and a picture of
your entry to this State Chairman (this is a
courtesy to the state chair so I will know
who has entered a contest).
Note that entries sent by US mail will
not be accepted this year!
We also have the wonderful “Women in the
Arts” Recognition Award and application
available for chapters to nominate a woman
in the arts! The requirements are on the
website. I can’t wait to see all the forms
that will be turned in to recognize a woman
in Iowa that has contributed to her artistic
field!
If your chapter is having a program
related to arts, crafts, music or
literature, the program qualifies to be
counted as an American Heritage program.
Contact me anytime for any help or more
information! Let’s ROCK American Heritage in
IOWA this coming year!!
