Each regular meeting includes devotions, patriotic exercises, the President General's message, and a report of the NSDAR National Defense Committee. Reports are presented by the chapter chairmen of the committees. Guest speakers, as well as members, provide interesting programs relating to a wide variety of subjects relating to education, historical preservation, or patriotism. The programs given each year deal with current issues and material from the American Spirit magazine and National Defender.
