Members are pictured with the statue of James Harlan on the campus of Iowa Wesleyan University.
Chapter meetings are scheduled the fourth Saturday of the month at 10:00 a.m., September through August. January has no meeting scheduled.

Sheppard statue




Members visit the Charles E. Sheppard monument in the Forrest Home Cemetery, Mount Pleasant, Iowa.  Charles E. Sheppard was a patriot of the Revolutionary War; he is buried on his homestead, north of Rome in Henry County, Iowa. 

The monument was erected as a joint project of the State of Iowa which included: McFarland Post GAR (Grand Army of the Republic) and the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Hannah Prior marker

 
A member embraced her family heritage at the burial site of her ancestor, Hannah (See) Prior, and the Real Daughter Marker, placed by the John See Chapter, New London, Iowa.
