Patriots Buried in Des Moines County, Iowa







Patriots of Des Moines County were honored by members of Stars and Stripes Chapter, Burlington, IA who placed a plaque in the courthouse in 1976.  Named on the plaque are:  Luther Bailey, Daniel Bean, William Blair, Peter Gearhart, John MacDonald, John Morgan, and Frederick Ware.
